OUR 2026 ANNUAL EVENT & BBQ

celebrating 10 Years of the club.

On Saturday 27th June 2026, we hosted our Annual Event & BBQ at our home venue, The Fairmile in Cobham, marking the 10th anniversary of our club. The Admin Team and volunteer marshals were on site before 8am, setting up gazebos for Club HQ, the entertainers, and St John Ambulance ahead of their arrival.

The first of 110 cars—and nearly 250 people—began arriving shortly after 10am. Thanks to our marshals, parking ran safely and smoothly, and within an hour the grounds were filled with Mustangs and their proud owners enjoying the summer sunshine. We were delighted to welcome displays from MMA, CCCUK, and Surrey Jive once again.

Entertainment ran throughout the day, with ‘DJ Shakin’ Shep’, the Surrey Jive - 'Jive Squadron', and country singer Robbie Miller keeping the atmosphere lively. Despite the extreme heat, the team at The Fairmile delivered excellent service with refreshments and a superb BBQ. We were also pleased to host several trade stands—our thanks to Pilgrim V8, MustDan Mods, and Stars & Stripes Classics for joining us.

Our sincere appreciation goes to everyone who contributed to the success of the day, especially Danny Rea and the entire Fairmile team for hosting our events and for their continued support throughout the year.

As in previous years, the event was funded entirely through member subscriptions, allowing us to offer free admission. We did, however, invite traders and guests to donate to Macmillan Cancer Support. Together, we raised £323.35 in cash on the day and a further £114.00 via our JustGiving page, bringing our total contribution to Macmillan Cancer Support to £2,823.98.
